“SPICY” Trend became dominant
not only for ramen but also for the whole food business.





Supply of White Ramen couldn’t catch up the demand at the beginning.

Most of the purchase were based on recommendation.(Survey)
→les increased “gradually”


Consumer inflow continued until December.
Consumer inflow decreased drastically afterDecember.
(Same period as 5 months)

First purchase before December lead to high repurchase rate.
Repurchase rate of consumers of first purchase after December
has decreased much.

Customarily in ramen industry, marketers consider the
‘repurchase cycle’ of ramen product as 3~4 months.
(White Ramen were released in the beginning of August)


Our statistical calculation based on survey also appeared as
3.5 months.



"소비자들은 가치가 가격 안에 있으면 지불할 용의가 있어요.

신라면 블랙이 실패한 건 그 가격에서 가치가 안 나왔기 때문이에요. “
